The Large Whole House Filter and Water Softener
A high capacity 64,000 grain softener paired with a dedicated 2 cubic foot catalytic carbon filter with KDF. More capacity, more filtration, built for busy households that use a lot of water.
Sized For The Way Your Home Actually Uses Water
More people and more fixtures mean more demand. Undersizing a system leads to hard water breakthrough and carbon that wears out early. This build is matched to larger households.
More Capacity
The 64,000 grain softener goes longer between regenerations, so soft water keeps up with a full house.
More Filtration
A full 2 cubic feet of catalytic carbon with KDF gives more contact time and longer media life.
Steady Pressure
Two dedicated tanks handle softening and filtration separately, protecting flow when demand is high.
Two Dedicated Tanks, Each Doing One Job Well
Separating softening and filtration lets each tank perform at its best, which is why we build it this way for larger homes.

We Use Catalytic Carbon, Not Standard GAC
The carbon is where most whole home systems quietly cut costs. We do the opposite.
Most companies use standard granular activated carbon, known as GAC. It handles chlorine, taste and odor well enough, and it is inexpensive, which is why it is everywhere.
Most water across the Valley is treated with free chlorine today, and both carbons handle that well. The difference shows up with chloramine, a longer lasting blend some utilities switch to over time. Standard GAC struggles with chloramine. Catalytic carbon breaks it down.
We use catalytic carbon because it is the higher grade, longer lasting media. It removes chlorine, reduces VOCs, future proofs you against chloramine, and adds another layer of adsorption that helps reduce PFAS across your whole home.
Catalytic carbon costs us more than standard GAC. We use it because it is the better, more durable media. For PFAS at the kitchen tap, pair this system with our reverse osmosis as a dedicated barrier for everything you drink and cook with.
| Contaminant | Standard GAC | Catalytic Carbon |
|---|---|---|
| Chlorine | Good | Excellent |
| Chloramine | Limited | Strong, breaks it down |
| Taste and odor | Good | Excellent |
| VOCs | Good | Good |
| PFAS | Some adsorption | Added adsorption |
| Media life | Shorter on chloramine | Longer, more durable |
